ETH Forum Wohnungsbau 2016
What strategies and concepts can be applied to help provide high-quality, low-cost housing to meet future needs? This will be discussed in this year’s ETH Wohnforum – ETH CASE symposium on 14 April. Registration for the event is open now.
How can one say what is a ‘fair’ price for housing? There is more than one way to look at this issue: plans for housing need to be more than just cost-effective – they also need to meet strict requirements in terms of profitability and social impact. Experts at the event will take an international perspective on developments in the housing sector, as well as addressing the general framework and key players. They will also be applying interdisciplinary insights to demonstrate how low-cost housing concepts can be put into practice. Speakers will offer critical perspectives on current strategies and their analysis of the latest challenges.
This symposium is organised by ETH Wohnforum – ETH CASE (Centre for Research on Architecture, Society & the Built Environment), an interdisciplinary research centre focusing on housing and urban planning, part of the Department of Architecture at ETH Zurich.
The event will take place on 14 April 2016 in the Kongresshaus Zürich. Registration is open until 31 March 2016.
