Today is National Future Day in Switzerland! On this day, children in grades 5-7 have the opportunity to get to know different professions and gain insights into exciting career fields. At ETH Zurich, we are also supporting the next generation and want to inspire them to discover new interests and develop their own future prospects. Last year, ETH Zurich strengthened its commitment to more animal-friendly research methods, reducing the number of animal experiments by 7.6 percent. It is committed to the principle of minimising the burden on animals in research. However, ETH is fundamentally opposed to a complete ban on animal experiments.
On 6 November 2024, the insured persons of PUBLICA elected a new assembly of delegates, as they do every four years. Seven members of ETH Zurich belong to the assembly during the new term of office.
