Preparations begin for the new computing centre
Construction work for the new computing centre on the H?nggerberg campus (HRZ) are set to begin in early 2024. Construction site setup and the preparatory work will begin today to ensure that work can start on time.

Update: Zwidenweg already closed from 8 December 2023!

Some of the work planned for January was brought forward at short notice. This includes dismantling the path lighting and initial excavator and cable work. For this reason, Zwidenweg will have to be closed to the public from Friday, 8 December 2023.
Preparations for the construction of the future computing centre on the H?nggerberg campus (HRZ) began today. Over the coming weeks, tree protection will be installed and construction walls will be erected on the Affoltern side of the campus, below the BellaVista restaurant. The actual construction work will then begin at the start of 2024.
Closure of Zwidenweg from January 2024
Zwidenweg will be closed from 8 January 2024 until the end of 2025 as part of the construction work. Detour signage will be adjusted accordingly.
We will provide more detailed information next year about the new computing centre and the upcoming construction work.
