The HIF building on the H?nggerberg campus has been renovated and extended for the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering (D-BAUG). The department's research now benefits from an enlarged building hall and new laboratories, among other things. The new building was officially opened in mid-June.

In the third week of January, Prof. Ulrich Weidmann, Vice-President for Human Resources and Infrastructure, and Daniel Bucheli, Director of the Real Estate Management Department, informed ETH members about the structural development of ETH Zurich.

ETH Zurich is working on the further development of its main locations ¨C Zurich Zentrum and Zurich H?nggerberg. This will enable it to accommodate the expected increase in students and researchers and to create the space required to explore new areas of research and innovative teaching methods.
