Hard times: first the coronavirus and two years of pandemic ¨C with all the accompanying restrictions and uncertainty ¨C and now the war in Ukraine. If confounded by personal issues and conflicts at work, it can be too much for a person to bear. At ETH and within its environment, there are several contact points that offer listening services and professional help with mental health problems.

The year 2022 has only just begun, but you might already be considering when you want to take a holiday this year. So where can you see how many free days you have available? And how can you be smart in planning your holidays this year to maximise the amount of free time you¡¯ll get?

Following the latest measures announced by the Federal Council, all ETH members must work remotely from home as of Monday. The only exceptions are for experimental work, workshops or other activities requiring on-site presence. University buildings will mostly be closed, with a few exceptions. The exam session is still going ahead as planned from 25 January onwards, with some exams sat in person.
