From app development to market analysis: talented students in the ETH juniors club have supplied expertise to companies for 20 years. A success for all involved.

The ETH spin-off SpinningBytes programs software that uses machine learning not only to analyse but also to understand huge amounts of data. It enables customised solutions to be developed for numerous IT problems, and allows new insights to be gained from previously unused data.

Could we soon be working alongside robots? Treffpunkt Science City will focus on this and other questions at the Experience Sundays dedicated to "Working in the World 4.0".

ETH Zurich held a ski workshop for undergraduate students for the first time. Over a six-week period, the participants built their own sustainable skis, from designing them on the computer to testing them out on the slopes.
